wow, now that already sounds like a big job.
I think you would need to purchase the heater parts (two per seat), then the dash controls, plus all the wiring. Lots of $$$$. Not sure how you would fit the heaters into the seats either.
Anyone else heard of this?
Rod.

It is possible. But would be tricky
The wiring will already be present but you would need to buy:
The two switches
Relay
And the two seat heater elements.
You will need to remove the seat covers, the base is held on with wire clips and the backs can just be pulled up (sounds easier than it is!)
To be honest I think it would be cheaper to buy a pair of secondhand sports seats.

So it was you who got them maxman I was watching these but the guy wouldn't confirm if they were heated or not. If they are I think you've got yourself a bargain as they looked immaculate to me. Well done!maxman wrote:Are the sports seats heated as standard,I have just bought a nice pair of ebay Red and Black. The seller had bought them but never fitted to his car.
I took a chance £192 seems like a good price.
Could I be cheeky and ask you to do some piccies of the install and put something in the knowledgebase

Wish I could get a hardtop at a steal.

I have to say I would not have thought of having heated seats if I had bought from new.
Now I think they are the best thing ever, especially when it is cold dry and sunny outside and I want the roof down. Warm clothes on , heater blasting out and lovely warm back and bottom ...........Oh YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

No, just a bit partial to some reconstituted cow's brain between two pieces of cardboard once in a while

Only joking, mate - you know I don't mean it! But you know how one thing can lead to another. Maybe it was all that mad cow disease that led to Barrying in the first place!smartypants wrote:I am seriously offended by that accusationRobert T wrote:Are you a closet Barry by any chance?smartypants wrote:I put my Maccy D's on the preheated passenger seat
