Tonneau Cover Boot Storage

Post by partybish »

Hi all,

Having viewed a number of Z3s before I finally bought mine I seem to recall there is a way to store the tonneau cover on the underside of the bootlid, have I got it wrong? and if not is anyone able to tell me if I need to purchase anything additional in order to be able to do this (straps etc)? :puzzle:

My tonneau cover is currently wasting valuable boot space but I have nowhere else to store it at the moment!

Thanks,
Matt

Keep mine ontop of wardrobe or in conservatory under sofa.

I use mine whenever I'm going to have the roof down for anything longer than a short trip and I'm sure it's not going to rain :nerd:
If you put it so that it sits right up near the front (away from the back of the car) then it doesn't take up too much room.
You won't actually save anything by attaching it to the bootlid because you'll just lose room from the top that you were losing from the bottom of the boot anyway! (If you know what I mean :rtm: )
