Post by drdrake »

Hi Chaps

My power hood stopped working this morning, yesterday I did push/assist it a little bit when taking the hood down so I wondered if I have buggered something? whats the best basic checks please?

Microswitch is usually the first thing to go, which cuts the power. It's above the passenger window in the hood frame. Check at the hood motor for power being applied when an assistant is holding the button and the footbrake.
