How much is it worth?

Post by Gucci »

Hi, just toying with the idea of a Z4... how much do you reckon I could get for my beloved?

1999 V (new shape) 1.8
Topaz blue metallic
Black interior
Aluminium dash
46,000 on the clock
FSH etc?

Any feedback would be champion!

:D Thank you

Thanks a lot for looking, don't you just love BMW and their depreciation rates? I bought the car for £12k 18 months ago. If it was a Vauxhall, I'd be looking at flogging it for an estimated £2.75p now.

Just paid 13,500 for my 2.8 3 weeks ago on a V plate with 47,000 on the clock, worth every penny. Looked at a 2.8 on a P plate, don't know the milage and that was 12,000.
Try looking on the Auto trader web site, that usually gives you a good indication..
Hope my depreciation is as good as yours by the way, i've actually got a Vauxall for sale and its worth approx. $2.75p !!!!!

thats about right price did you buy your car from dealer if so you would expect to pay around 13000 as 1000 pound is put on top of cars selling it private would cost around 12000 or under depending on the cont did you haggle with your buyer

I noticed when traded up that my previous Z held it's value pretty well too. You can see why.. there solid cars well built, good engines and there's nothing similar to them on the road. Still a head turner. The retro look won't date.

Bought mine of a guy on this forum. At the end of the day if you want a good one i was willing to pay. I assumed that because i was buying off someone on here it would be decent. I wasn't disappointed !!!!

I've seen them going for allsorts of prices, i set a limit and stuck to it, i thought it was a good price for a brilliant motor..
