After reading some recent comments on how rear windows have been cracking, I had an idea that a 12 volt heat pad might be a solution. I have seen an infrared pad measuring 450 x 450mm on Ebay, which might be an ideal size to fit in the hood compartment and allow a preheat for when the hood is folded down. Do you think this would work?
