New front callipers, EBC Ultimax discs & redstuff pads. Sourced the discs & pads myself, local indie supplied the callipers & fitted everything for me. Following 3 weeks of being off the road due to the seized calliper, it was nice to give it a wash & go out for a spin in the sunshine with the top down this weekend!!

New callipers came painted Silver, which look good with the redstuff pads - just need to paint the grubby carriers now to match. Disc's & pads bedding in for now, but feel pretty good so far.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

A new camshaft position sensor ........ Stripped the inlet manifold and removed the old sensor before I realised that they had sent the wrong part ..... Doh :head:

So put it all back together again and guess what ..... It's running better than ever !!

How does that happen then ? :dunce:

Mainly replacing items for a front and rear brake overhaul but there is a bit of suspension overhaul going on as well. Started off a small project that has grown arms and legs :!:

More wheels :-)

Image

These will now be used as my winter wheels, genuine sport alloys which I have always loved and think they are the best looking standard wheel for a zed.

I am getting rid of the horrible gold colour and they will be refurbed and sprayed with a nice new coat of silver paint ready for winter.

I'm getting almost as bad as Jonttt with wheels, although these are only my third set ;-)

Blanking plate for the soft top actuating switch panel (I dropped the original when fixing the soft top switch). And two bottles of BMW car wash. It is cheaper and better than most others available in New Zealand, so I use it on all my vehicles.
Not a biggy but it still feels good.

You have PM. They seem to be quite rare and hardly any sets ever come available for sale second hand, I know titantim sold a set a few years back but not sure for how much, then w4tkins sold them on last year in this thread. Also depends on there condition and what the tyres are like.

Just paid for an MOT certificate. The first time I've put a car through one in many years, being a company car driver. I'd forgotten that slightly nervous feeling (not unlike going to the dentist) when dropping it of. No advisories, just compliments on how tidy it is, which makes a change from the usual negative comments I'm used to as a Z3 owner. :D

Now I'm going to look for a nice set of 18" alloys, might fit some new heavy duty wishbones and treat it to a fresh coat of wax/sealant before the winter comes.

New MOT – but advisories :( – first sign of rust on brake pipes to and from the nearside, rear calliper. New exhaust and cat. Cleaned and painted the callipers and hubs with silver paint. :sunny

Sort of bought something. Just dropped the type 42 wheels off for refurbishing. The rims were very corroded but i am having the whole wheel painted in a silver sparkly colour. Wont get them back for a few days so photos later. Also bought a set of the plastic locking wheel nut covers. Just looking for a set of wheels studs but i want chrome heads, anyone bought these before??

An ACS pedal set. Absolutely no idea whether they are genuine or not! They were cheap enough for me not to care too much. Brake, accelerator & clutch pedals only - no footrest.
