Winter Tyre Thread

Post by TitanTim »

Hi all,

I thought it might be useful to start a winter tyre thread as haven't seen one for a while. Perhaps as time goes on members could add how good or bad their Zed has performed with their tyre of choice :)

I will kick off

Vredestein Quatrac 3 mud and snow all season tyre. £142.52 each from Event Tyres. Size 225/40 R 18 front and rear.

I leave the M with its all year tyres and dont drive it much.
The Alpina gets the works though with winter tyres and new alloys.
Cost -- dont ask.
For full on Alpina wheels and tyres over £4000
Opted for a BMW alloy (style 284) and non run flat tyres but still expensive.
Sapphire black/Imola red and black interior/ red roof/ S54 - the only RHD one made.
