does anyone happen to know if the vw 99 programmable intermittent wiper relay plugs into the z3? it fits most European cars :idea:

No idea, but if you download the Z3 wiring diagram you may be able to work it out for yourself:

What does this relay do, exactly?

hey great link - thanks. yep they are definitely different :evil: still not to worry it is still possible, I just need to substitute the signal from the bmw with the signal from the 99 relay. happy days

what does it do - erm programmable intermittent wipe, you switch on the intermittent then off again ( one wipe), then the next time you switch it on it remembers the time delay since you used it earlier.

er... My Z3 3.0 already has this function in the wiper control! Is this not standard across the Z3 family?

nope mine doesn't have it. must be an optional extra or dependant on build year. :evil:

I think you should consider having three flakes in your ice cream Mark and put them upside down.
You could even call it a "666" ;)

why was it called a 99, it wasn't 99p :? now if it was two scoops with a flake in each I could understand it being called a 66, but 99 :?
