Gunson Eezibleed Kit

Post by Mint »

I'm going to do some servicing on my Zed soon, including replacing the brake fluid and I'm thinking of getting an Gunson Eezibleed Kit. Has anyone used one on their Zed? Any tips and tricks I should be aware of?
Also how much fluid should I buy?
Thanks for your help

Brilliant piece of kit and do easy to use. You need a wheel to act as the pressure reservoir so unless you have a compressor or second vehicle a 12v compressor is also required.

1 litre of fluid should more than enough.

I bled my brakes earlier in the year using one of these, must say real easy and hassle free! well worth £20 from screwfix. I bought a 750ml bottle from eurocarparts and still have a bit left. Total time, about 1 hour. recommended :D

Mike Fishwick has recommended it on previous forum threads. It uses pressure bleeding which the Haynes manual says is the only method specified/approved by BMW. Haynes says that the pressure should be below 29 PSI to avoid reservoir damage.
