Does anybody have any experience/opinion of these?

I know its eBay glammed up, but the finish doesn't look too bad!

I've looked at the carbon fibre ones from an eBay seller in Germany and they look good but I've not got round to buying one yet. Also they are around £40 from Germany.

I posted a question on here a few weeks ago about the £40 set and was told that although they looked good at first, they shrank in the heat and peeled off.
I am interested to know if anyone has experience of the £125 set.

Thanks for the info Mugs,

The eBay listings for both of them look very similar like the finishes for example (exactly the same wood effects), which I'm skeptical about.
Another concern is that the £125 set completely avoids a description of what it is made from; it explains it has quality adhesive, and a scratch free coat, but fails to explain whether it is a sticker, or solid material. I think the pictures could be misleading.

I've had the £40 set in burr walnut finish for 4 years and
it hasn't shrunk or lifted and it fits exactly as it should.
I cleaned the areas to fit thoroughly with surgical spirit
before hand perhaps that's why it hasn't lifted. :rtm:

I used to have the "walnut" finish console...then I bought this M version console off eBay, and had it finished in CF....including my OEM cupholder...It's a film which is applied to the item, then clearcoated after baking...works for me... :D

A place here in SA...It's a film which is applied in a tank of water...it is almost jelly-like when applied, it is then baked until it is dry, and has adopted the shape etc of the object it has been applied to...it is then clear-coated with a couple of coats and baked some more to cure the lot...It come s up really well, and is pretty much impervious to scratching etc under "normal" use. I had the center console done from the radio aperture, all the way to the back including the rear storage box and lid. The side trims Ileft black (OEM).. Bit dusty, but you can see the idea...

A few years ago I had a £40 set and it was just a set of flat stickers from Germany. The £125 set looks like it has depth to it based on the edges as pictured on the carbon fibre version, but it looks as if it is a flexible product, much like some of the resin type badges you can get.
I had a refund from a £40 set because it didn't fit correctly as there was a gap around all of the switches because the cut outs in the sticker were too large.
I ended up sticking it in the bin..... :D

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

My £40 set is not flat stickers and they fit well, I forget how to post pictures
photography is not my thing, ask Ragtop how they look he's seen
them many times.
