air grille rheostat lamp frequent blowing

Post by resunoiz »

I changed the rheostat light a year ago, and now it's gone again....there are some "tricks" to help that little light live a little longer? something like more or less watt, or other tricks...

It is illuminated all time the ignition is on, which is why it is one of the first bulbs to go. An LED would be good for this, but it would need to be a warm colour to match the rest of the lighting. It might be possible to cannibalise an old bulb to make an LED fitment if there isn't a direct off-the-shelf replacement.
