Z3 seats
Can anyone tell me if artificial leather was used on z3 seating or were they real hide.

It appears that there were more variations than I was thinking - 2 kinds of fabric, 1 leatherette and 4 types of leather! - see http://users.belgacom.net/bmw_z3/bmw_z3_interior.htm
Some of these were probably market specific and almost certainly they were not all in production at the same time. From memory I had a choice of fabric and 2 types of real leather when I ordered mine - I have the sales brochures somewhere...
