ZUKU is leaving...

Post by resunoiz »

...in 2-3 weeks the zed is leaving me.

was 2 years of love, passion, dedication to make her perfect, and I can proudly say I achieved my goal. Is now time to leave her, she's gonna go to a guy who loves this car as much as I did during those years.
All works made on it (dashboard restoration, seats...) were aa huge part of the fun with the zed, I'll never forget it as much as the long trips made topdown.

Goodbye ZUKU.

...will I be welcome without a zed too here?

thanks barry :)

no more zeds unfortunately. Petrol in italy is a huge problem in those years, and a 2-seat as main car is a problem in order to valuate alternative fuels...was one of the main points that brought me to sell the zed: I'd never trasform a z3 in a methane fueled vehicle

Well all the best to you. I would really struggle to part with my Zed but totally understand that we all have our reasons for these decisions.
Good luck with your next choice. :)

Cheers
Dave

Just thought I'd mention I ran an E46 330i Sport on lpg, one if the first in UK now there are many. I paid for a Prins install by a good professional fitter and it ran great and was as cheap as a 320d to run. One of the best cars I've owned. There are anber if M3's now on lpg in UK too and believe with no issues.

The Z3 engine (6cly) should have no issues on lpg.

Don't bother in a 4 cyl car though. There is a small drop in power and torque but very very small. When you have over 200bhp you don't really notice (I got 150mph on lpg and 155 on petrol).
On a 140bhp car it may be more noticeable though.
