ACS wheel Dilemma

Post by Woody1000 »

Found the car with a flat tyre this morning and after taking it to have what I thought to be a puncture repaired it turns out the air is escaping from the sill on the split rims !!

Can't find any tool that fits the nuts on the inside, it's a female spline fitting but can't tell what size and can't even find anybody to entertain fixing it locally either !!

Anybody know what the tool size is or where in Essex I can find someone to split and resell them ?

Thanks. Tony

I think you need some tool made by ACS... You can ask http://www.felgen-man.de/english/contact.html if you will not find anyone closer...

Might be this?

Surely you need the opposite of that don't you? Your wheels need a tool that fits in to the bolt, the one shown would fit my type iii racing but not yours I think

On the front of the wheel you need the opposite tool but inside the wheel they are like spline nuts. Thanks Gazza will give them a call in the morning.
