Centre console removal

Post by markhinton »

I'm looking to vinyl wrap the centre console instrument dial/gearstick area - do I still need to remove the entirety of the centre console to do this, or can I just take off the hockey sticks and wriggle it free?

I'd say you need to remove it to do a proper job.

You need to remove the console to get to the screws of the hockey sticks...So, yes...you need to remove the console...also as Blades says, to do a decent job, it would be best to be able to have the parts at a useful work height / access etc...

Not many screws to be honest, the hardest part I found was my stereo. just take you time and follow the "how to remove your interior / dash" threads in the knowledge base - shouldn't take you more than an hour tops.
