I have spoken with a manufacturer here, and he tells me He can manufacture and supply clear front indicator lens covers for us at around £.40.00 per set (L & R)....
Does this sound like a good deal to you guys, and that price, would you be interested.. I would need to order around 50 sets (100 pieces) to get the pricing, so it would involve a substantial outlay.
He assures me they will be identical to the OEM parts, but obviously in a clear finish. Please provide comments, questions etc...

...... bear in mind that to fit them one would need to de-tango the headlight fitting so as to remove the orange lense and fit the new clear lenses... (15 mins at 80 in the oven)

Sorry, but I don't believe you will get here customers for 50 sets. That is too much. (Not interested anymore as I already got and installed clear lenses a week ago.)
Maybe he can manufacture 50 sets and he will sell them on ebay, but that will not happen immediately.
Many z3 owners don't care about that and even I am not sure if clear indicator lenses added a lot to car's look, as it now looks more boring IMO.

Personally I think de-tango looks much better and I'm sure they would sell but as Deni points out, how quickly is another matter. For that kind of initial outlay I am suspecting a quick return on investment would be required by whomever paid it - assuming they weren't already a multimillionaire like yourself

Z3 1.9 Sport Progress Journal (Wifey's)
I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..
