Anyone see one of these around?
Re: Anyone see one of these around?
It's not just electric though, it's got a turbocharged 1.5 triple petrol engine as well working in tandem with the electric motor & charging the cells.
It's a hybrid.

Total installed power 357hp. 228 hp petrol and 129hp electric and quoted at 0-60 3.8 sec. 6 figure price tag and at least 12 month waiting list.
They do look very smart. I've seen a couple of i3's around which are electric with an optional range extender petrol engine but definitely a city car.

They look stunning and I'd love one, but they ain't cheap.
I did see a Tesla Model S on the road the other day - electric only and a range of over 200 miles - it was pootling along very slowly, but I think that had more to do with the driver than the car.
We now have a Tesla showroom in Knutsford - might take a look sometime out of interest - I always have a good ogle through Mclaren's window when I drive past.
Cheers R.

Its the future i8 stunning, did see a Tesla saloon yesterday at Yorkshire Sculpture park also looked the part at half the price. Still a petrol head but at least the styling is encouraging
In love with driving again (its the Z effect)
Re: Anyone see one of these around?
I passed one on Great Western Road in Glasgow today. Great road presence.
