Z3's in "unusual" places

Post by Southernboy »

Just thought I'd post a query.... Where is the most "unusual" place where you know of a Z3 enthusiast ?
I sold a set of clear lenses for a Z3 to guy in Thailand and a set of seat belt guide fixing brackets to a guy in Tasmania.... both obviously enthusiasts who were doing upgrades to their respective cars.

Russia and Kazakhstan.

It's hard to get parts here, most delivery companies refuse to deliver anything there and local post is more like lottery - will you get your part or not, and in what condition. Most Z3 were imported here from Japan. Climate is also not very good for enjoying roadsters.

I saw one in Costa Rica when I was there in 2010. I had not long bought mine at the time. Does anyone know if they were sold worldwide?
