Couple of measurements here :)

Ones that fit infront of lenses

Image

Larger Ring (Left)

Outer diameter, left to right - 122 mm

Inner diameter, left to right - 107 mm

Outer diameter, top to bottom - 107 mm

Inner diameter, top to bottom - 95 mm

Smaller Ring (Right)

Outer diameter, left to right - 133 mm

Inner diameter, left to right - 118 mm

Outer diameter, top to bottom - 101 mm

Inner diameter, top to bottom - 92 mm

Ones that fit behind the lenses

Image

Larger Ring (Left)

Outer diameter, left to right - 131 mm

Inner diameter, left to right - 115 mm

Outer diameter, top to bottom - 115 mm

Inner diameter, top to bottom - 110 mm

Smaller Ring (Right)

Outer diameter, left to right - 133 mm

Inner diameter, left to right - 118 mm

Outer diameter, top to bottom - 101 mm

Inner diameter, top to bottom - 92 mm

The half circle ones seem to be the same size with both types yet the fuller circle ones are bigger for the ones that sit behind the lenses hence why they won't fit infront and some of the bottom of the headlight needs to be trimmed away with a dremmel.

Hope this helps some people :)

Something seems to have gone awry with recent incarnations of these units (including those sold via the link quoted by Southernboy). Although the profile/shape is definitely Z3, they're too large to fit inside or outside the lens without undermining (IMO) the headlamp structure. I think it might be better to source some generic types of CCFL and be creative with some clear silicone etc. to attach them to the inside of the headlamp unit.
I say Soanes - park the Z3 would you? There's a good chap.

Given the measurement list provided by g8jka, it will make sense to de-tango the headlight, measure the diameter you need, and order parts accordingly. The OP suggested the seller wanted to know "what diameter" he wanted to buy, so it would seem the option to get the correct size is available....

The item used were 131mm in diameter, fitting in front of the glass required some trimming of about 3 LEDs but I installed mine behind the glass no trimming required, just some positioning a little trim of some plastic in the headlight and hot glued in place.
