How rare are the 3.0i Sports?

Post by ALPHA 3.0i Z3 »

Asking as I am considering buying another, but can't get the price right with the seller.
Any input would be of help.

They don't come up that often in the UK, not sure about anywhere else.

And they do command a premium.

And I'm certain the low mileage clean examples will slowly rise in value from now on.

So if you're not far apart on price just go for it.

But remember, if you're buying it for a future investment it has to be nice under the bonnet, not all corroded like many are.

You can have mine for £35k and as a forum member i'll give you 50% discount ;)

There always seems to be one or two for sale but normally older models or high mileage. Certainly not the same level of choice.

That's cheap, the value can only go up from that price.

I think colour affects the value too, there are some unusual combinations out there.
