Z3 front top mounts advice please

Post by MpowerRob »

Hi all I'm finally getting round to fitting the eibach lowering springs to the front of my Z is it worth renewing the top mounts whilst I'm at it,they don't look to be in too bad a condition is there a way to tell if they need to be replaced.

Also if I do replace is there a good worthwhile upgrade or shall I just stick with oe ?

Simple answer yes - the bearings will be worn.

OEM fine for the front. The rears need to be upgraded to Rogue mounts.

Are you not fitting matching springs all round? I find it difficult to believe that fronts only will improve the handling.

The H&R front anti-roll bar made a big difference to mine - I used Bilstein B6s and H&R springs all round as well - perfect handling!
