RUBBER STOPS THAT HOLD SPARE WHEEL IN SITU

Post by johnwillett »

HI,

Does anyone know the part number of the three rubber stops that hold the spare wheel in situ when the spare wheel carrier is replaced back. the spare wheel sits against these stops. Unable to find them in BMW parts diagrams

Plus Willy, Kodak & Maycee - All 2.2 Sport projects. Yes, 6 is a lot of Z3s :)
Always happy to try and help with spares :)

I think more #14 - SOUND ABSORBER - qty 3 - is more likely.

Hi,

Thanks for your responses. Unfortunately they are not the parts I am after. The rubber stops / bungs fit into two brackets on the chassis ( on what I think is the outside of the well that the too kit/battery sits) and the third fits directly to the chassis (no bracket). I have photos nut cammot load onto site.

Cheers

You have beaten me to it Brian just got my knee wet taking a poor quality photo and again saying no part numbers.

The only thing I can find are part number 5 here and they are only for the Z3

Hi Brian (s)

Yes they are the parts I am looking for - great pictures too. Any ideas where I may find the part numbers, only BMW cannot find them on the documentation!

Thanks everyone for your feedback,
