Headlight adjustment problem. Urgent mot failure

Post by alec.m »

The two lenses seem to have come away from the adjuster. I`ve been told it`s a ball joint inside that`s popped out? Is there any way of getting it back on without splitting the headlamp? Grateful for any input. Thanks.

Yes you should be able too i have replaced the leveller motor with out splitting remove the headlight and then the bulb, twist the leveller out of the light if it disc it will just fall out.
Put your finger in the bulb hole and hold the relector and you should see through the hole left by the leveller motor a white cup like clip you need to re insert the end of the leveller motor in to it it is fiddly but you can do it .

Thanks Antm72, I`ll have a go at that. Why does it always rain when you haven`t got a garage and you need to work on your car!?
