Been in an accident before and down as a CAT C and has been fitted with a 1.9 front bumper instead of the wide mouth 6 cylinder bumper. Worth a look for the price, doesn't look bad on the pics.

Main advice would be if a car is that good keep it to yourself :)

The ad actually says Cat D. If the damage is actually Cat C I would be cautious of the trader.

However Cat C/D on a old car is usually no big deal. A gentle bumper and bonnet knock would be enough to write off even a £4K Z3 potentially. I'd want to know where the damage was and check it but if you like what you see crack on. Conversely I probably wouldn't touch a 1 year old car with Cat C with a barge pole as it could mean it needed £10,000 of repairs.

If everything else checks out £1,850 looks like a bargain to me.

Don't see why the trader is saying it's a rare car though? A much abused term. Sought after maybe.

Got up nice and early and it was a nice sunny day thought to myself I need to go and find a reason not to buy this car and when I got there I found my reason.
Some other bu&&3r had got there before me :head:

Lesson learnt keep it to yourself couldnt even bring myself to have a good look around it once i saw it with the SOLD sign up on it

Oh I Know it wasn't anything to do with you but the terrible thing is ive now seen a Z4 for sale with a hard top (ive no garage) and a 3.0 litre 6 pot but with a dramatically increased budget required
