radio
some thing is spooky is happening to my pure dab radio, I get a very good signal but when I plug in my phone to charge it using the cigarette lighter socket the radio
goes dead no signal, unplug the socket radio gets a full signal again , only seems to be affected by the phone charger

Re: radio
My other half's nearly new Peugeot 2008 does exactly the same thing. I'm banned from plugging my phone in as a result.
No idea what it is though.

Re: radio
Is the phone attached to the radio in any way (bluetooth, audio lead)?
Re: radio
no just plugged into the cig lighter socket, only happens when I use the phone lead , good thought about the blue tooth , i can to link to my phone via blue tooth but I haven't, it's just the radio sigh goes to zero when it plugged in then back to full strength when I Un plug

Also, see what happens when the phone is turned off, but still charging from the lighter socket.

Re: radio
What about if you push the cigarette lighter in to heat up? That might give an indication on whether it's just load on a circuit or some sort of rf interference.
Does it have an active antenna and, if so, where does that draw power from? I'm assuming the dab radio just plugs into the connectors that would go into the back of the original stereo (with an adapter)?

Re: radio
sounds like your lighter is giving interference somehow. my dab aerial is the same as yours and no issues charging anything

Re: radio
do you have any other way of charging stuff from the battery (additional USB lead etc). I am thinking that if you have any other way of charging from the battery other than the cig lighter and see if that makes any difference. If the radio works its defo the lighter. if the radio plays up then its the radio (somehow)
