rattling glove box door

finally go arround to fixing the rattling glove box door that was anoying swmbo , I stuck two of those little clear plastic buttons that you use to stop kitchen doors from banging, I put one on each of the rubber gromits on the iside of the door work brill no more moaning from swmbo

Good thinking ! One small word of advice however, if you have stuck them on each corner of the glove box door, they will eventually cause the door to bend outwards where you have stuck the buttons - good move would be to place the buttons close to the center where the lock is situated to avoid the outer corners from eventually not locating up close to the dash body / opening to the glove box... :wink:

cheers,, they are only about 2mm thick so I don't think it will cause a problem, they just take up the gap that the original rubber gromits had, but I will keep an eye on it
