... what is 'it' for you?
There's the stock toolkit and warning triangle but what else do you always take with you on a Z3 drive?

For me the C110 error scanner is one thing as you can get a decent amount of data out of that, could help decide whether to limp home if something went wrong or call for recovery. Also my leatherman and a bunch of cable ties!

Nothing. I don't even always take a phone (not just in the Z3, in any car).

Other than the BMW toolkit, an umbrella, a small multi-tool and an extendable wheel nut wrench as they are difficult to remove if properly torqued - or even over-torqued by tyre fitters :D

my phone has my music on so that always comes and my wallet as the old girl can be a bit thirsty... aside from that nothing special, although I have considered investing in a new puncture repair thingy... I still have the factory one in the car and I am doubtful it would be much use after 19 years?
Here come the girls.....

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..
