anyone ever replaced the stiff pipe that goes rusty? on the read brakes.

where did you buy it?

If you can remove the old one and measure the length, then any decent motor factors can make you one up.

Have a look at this previous thread on the subject viewtopic.php?f=5&t=41844&p=388385&hilit=rear+brake+pipe#p388385

Check on the oem parts site what pipes you have on your car as they differ if its a DSC equipped car, best check using last 7 digits of your chassis number.
Here is what comes back for my 1999 1.9 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partgrp ... 3_19&mg=34

If you go the copper replacement route then they should see you and the car out.
