I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue. Orange is probably the time to book a service, but when the red's come on it means that it wants servicing now. How many miles/much time have you done since the first red came on? Just so long as you haven't ignored the indicator for 20k!

What warranty did your car come with? 3 years/60,000 miles? If so, the it's out of manufacturers warranty. Or is this an extended warranty?

Hi

"Failure to comply with the service schedule recommended by BMW may invalidate your warranty"

Im getting my car serviced tomorrow as it has gone past the orange light onto the red light (service overdue) - its due an Inspection 2

So basically does going onto the red light mean I have failed to comply and that they may not do any warranty work now?

The car is 3.0 Z3 2001 - 53,500 miles
