Although not South Lincs, I use Forrest Motors in Lincoln and they have been good so far. I even took the Mini there.

thanks guys ,gainsborough is a long way from us there is a place in st ives called Bensons i think but they do not return any of our e-mails so its put us off . at the moment it looks like we will have to use the main dealer for our insp 2 .

We've also tried contacting Benson Motors a couple of times but no response despite the recommendation here - any ideas?

Have had a resposne from them £490.21 Insp1, is that on par with other indies?

Give Tim Spicer a ring at Duxford (just south of Cambridge) 01223 833392 - he did my 1.9 last year for an Insp. 2 service, new front discs & pads plus an MOT for much less than your quote!!!
Wasn't sure about putting his number on here but it's freely available via Google. Very good service & a free loan 5 series as well.

Benton's garage in Ely (near the train station) They specialise in BMW, never had the zed serviced there as haven't had it long enough but they looked after my 328 exceptionally well for the last 2 years.

Had a chat with the guys from Bensten's ,got on very well looks like we will give them a try when the M needs it insp 1 serv .
