HELP! Seat Not Working

Post by Andrew330Ci »

Hi everyone need your help!

I have got the seat bushes from Whalen needed to be done.

Started in the passenger seat out, changed all the bushes, got the aligning pin and bolts up all ok. The rails on each side match up ok and can be secured into the bolts in the car

BUT

The seat doesnt move forward or back, electrically obviously has anyone experienced this when changing the bushes?

Thanks

Did you sand the bushes down until you could shove them into place with thumb pressure?

I've heard of folks leaving them too thick and hammering them into position; evidently, the adjustment nut needs to float inside it's housing, or it may keep the motor from turning.

Just thought I'd give you an update after an entire day doing this!

It is complete, reason is it still needs to have some movement between the bushes, so just need to make sure when replacing it does need just push in with fingers no more.

Hope that helps people for the future!

BIG IMPROVEMENT! No movements what so ever its brilliant!
