Speeding
Speeding
Well finally been caught after 10 years of point free motoring.
Came off a round about in the M onto a duel carridge way and put me foot down in 2nd.
Before I could blink I had hit 70 and then noticed the mobile camera on the side of the road about 500 yards away.... Sh!t brake ...!!!
Turns out the speed limit on this road was 40mph.. oops.
Done some research looking at 6 points and upto a £250 fine.

The fact you spotted it 500yds away, though I know that's well within their range, I'd guess you slowed plenty enough to come well within the SP30 range before they zapped you - maybe I'm just an optimist?dooby wrote:Really ..thats seams abit too good to be true, what makes you say that.badboyblue wrote:Be surprised if it wasn't an SP30, 3 points and £60 fixed penalty.
Even then, you still have a chance to fight it. When they send the penalty notice to you, if it is not an SP30, write back and ask for a copy of the Operators Manual, the device Service History, the date it was last calibrated prior to the offence, and the certification and experience of the operator.
In more than 50% of cases challenged in this way they walk away because like so many these days they take short cuts and do not follow the rules themselves. If the device has not been serviced according to the manufacturers instructions or not properly calibrated at the frequency required then readings are invalid and have no value in court.
Good luck anyway.

Now with both the 411 bhp Supercharged Z3MR and a WRX STi Wagon getting a 3.4 litre transplant and an XKR with mods planned.
Fast is good, faster is better. Wheeeeee !!!
