While I had the M3 on the dyno, I was chatting to the owner of the place with the dyno and he was saying that the biggest gains they saw from S50B30 and S50B32's that they put into older beemers was through decatting with 60mm pipes with the crossover under the driver.
The company that makes theirs is next door to them and I have had dealings with them before when they made a one off end can for an oddball supermoto for me a few years ago and the finished article was pretty incredible.
So I'm thinking about getting one made for the Z. I reckon it'll be fairly easy to swap in/out to the standard rear boxes.But that's quite a lot of pipe.
Cost. I have no idea. I haven't approached them yet. But I was wondering if there was any interest in getting a batch made and doing a group buy.
They can obviously use my car as a template and then just make them from a jig thereafter.
So would there be any interest in this?
