S54's and shadow chrome wheels

Just a short question this time: Do you know if all S54's had shadow chrome wheels as standard, or if it was just an option at the time?

Sorry, yet another question!

I went over to "My Alloys" in Basingstoke today, just to get a quote for re-refurbishing the wheels int the correct color for the model. The price came in at what I thought was a reasonable £312 inc vat, plus an extra £10 if I just leave the car with them instead of dropping the wheels off. I think thats going to be £10 well spent!!

The only problem is, they have four distinct shades of Shadow chrome, ranging from almost black to slightly dusty silver. So, does anyone have a high resolution photo of an original Shadow Chrome wheel that has not been refurbished? this is just so I can try and get the color as close to stock as I can.

The problem is pics can be misleading.

I would speak to Chris at excel as suggested on your other thread, he has experience of doing them

Thats perfect and gives a very good idea of the difference in the two shades. I'll also follow up on 911sc's recommendation for Excell.
