Were Either Model Made With Automatic Gearbox?
Just wondered if any roadster or coupe were produced with an auto box?
Re: Were Either Model Made With Automatic Gearbox?
loads of the roadsters.
all engines except the M
all engines except the M
Z3 2.8 Progress Journal (Mine)
Z3 1.9 Sport Progress Journal (Wifey's)
I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Re: Were Either Model Made With Automatic Gearbox?
It is a Japanese import since January 2011.
That alone is not a reason to walk away but the seller obviously knows nothing about the car or just cannot be bothered to advertise it properly.
The advert states it is a 2.8 with a manual box but also that it is an automatic (backed up by the photos) and also that it is a 3.2 litre
According to the DVLA it is a 2.8 built in 1999 and the under bonnet shot looks like a 2.8 engine.
It is not an "M" as we know it but then it is not "M" money either so could be a cheap way to get into a coupe if you think that a 2.8 auto is adequate and the rest of the car checks out ok.

Re: Were Either Model Made With Automatic Gearbox?
Thanks for clarifying! was quite confused when I saw that auto box!
Re: Were Either Model Made With Automatic Gearbox?
I like that, except for it being LHD.
Typical rushed car dealer advert though - not double checking which boxes have been checked.
There's an interesting car or two in the background - Jaguar XKR, early VW Golf (probably GTI from the grille, although a lot of cheaper Golf's were modded that way).

The car has been advertised for nearly 1 year.
