Number Plate F4ST M
National numbers.co.uk are advertising pre-ordering of old F registrations if any one is interested. Found the link on PISTONHEADS.
I searched the above plate which is available at £999.00 plus transfer, VAT etc.

I thought it looked ok, not worth over £1K though

Oh Dear - whatever happened to class....!?
Are we over run by chav these days?
//M is special - please all, dont devalue it - if you have an //M you have a responsibility to enjoy it for what it is - a great driving experience.
But most people (read girls) in the world will have no idea what //M is, and even less what your number plate means. It will only be understood by other blokes - is that what you want, appealing to blokes?
So save your money - spend that £1000 elsewhere - dont be the guy where everyone looks at your number plate and says - whats that mean, tosser.

His comments may not be PC, but they generally correct.
A lot of people will not understand what an ///M is or even care. Women will likely be a higher proportion of that. That's not sexist, just fact. If you have an M3 or an M5, at least people understand you when you call it an M3 or an M5. If you have a ///M roadster then most only understand you when you say its a Z3 with a big engine! Another fact.
The real question is do you do things for yourself or so other people can see you? Over the years I have seen many on here do and say things that were clearly attention seaking. I am not sure why people persist in doing this as its easy to spot and makes them look rather pathetic.
I am looking for a private plate at the moment, but it has to fulfill two criteria. It has to please me and it has to have some value if I ever sell the car. If other people a kick out of it, then that's OK too.
Si.

Use the Search button before posting newbie questions about hard tops and fitting kits, footwell speaker amps, water in the boot, hood maintainance and those horrific angel eyes. We get like 10 threads a week on the same subject, it's obvious that you haven't searched.
Ooops, no, got it confused with the other F plates thread.

F4 STM is fitted to BMW Z3 M CONVERTIBLE . Not mine, unfortunately .
The owner may come forward and make a healthy profit.
F4 CKU is not fitted to any car and is not available from DVLA. Presumably someone has it on retention.
F11 CKU is on regtransfers for £35,000.

I'm sure there is a dating site to suit your needs Tim! The other day I saw an advert for a dating site for people in uniforms! ...which was then followed by a string of alternatives which basically said - ANYONE who has ever seen someone in uniform may join :STitanTim wrote:Not really into private plates but I wished I had a girlfriend whom owned an automobile like thatwhiteminks wrote:I'm a girl and here's my car!
