Dutch Z4 - what happens if I service it in the UK?

Post by Bully5000 »

Greetings all

I have recently purchased a Z4 3.0i (08/2003, black, red leather) here in Amsterdam. I am English and travel back to the UK a fair bit and had a thought:

driving and maintaining a car in Amsterdam is very expensive - to put it in perspective two new Run Flat tyres cost ~1,100 EUR here from BMW not including labour and ~600 pounds in the UK (not that I'd buy them from BMW but it's an example). Anyway, what would happen if I continued the full BMW full-service history by scheduling it when I'm back in the UK? I expect cost savings but future buyers may be put off and indeed will BMW do it?

Just a friday thought...would love to get your thoughts...

As long as the correct servicing is done at the correct intervals, where it is done should not be an issue.
Some people are funny about main dealer vs independent, but, the service done by a BMW dealer should be identical to that of another BMW dealer.
