Has anyone come up with a simple / practical solution to the screw in OEM carpet mat thingy to prevent it coming out ? Obviously it needs to turn to unlock, but it shouldn't need to be fished out of the vacuum cleaner everytime...
Any smart ideas out there?

So far a couple of big nails seems to be the best offering...From that, I will assume nobody has cured this niggle yet?

I solved this issue by making a plastic washer and placing that behind the carpet for the fixing to screw into. Not come loose since.
