Stuff my seat

Post by Jamezee »

Just had my drivers seat (leather) right side bolster re stuffed (non technical term) as the foam had got worn down and the frame was starting to show through the leather panel.
I went to Pete Lentons place in Cheadle, he is a specialist trimmer who I have been to before and would recommend.

Hi was just looking at my drivers outer bolster this morning oddly enough an thinking that the frame was begining to make an appearance. How much roughly did it cost if you don't mind me asking, any pictures ?

Thanks

That sounds like a good price given the time involved in removing the seat, cover, repairing the foam and putting it all back together. What was the set-up of the premises like Jamezee?

Hi snoops,
It is a small set up that has been going for years, I think there are just two there. You see all sorts of cars and soft tops going there. It was recommended to me by a local BMW dealer who send some of there work to him. Nice fella who does a good job and doesn't rip you off. :)

I'm still faffing around with colours and leather finishing choices for my replacement seats I think I may as well go and have a chat with him. I am happy with the guy who is my 1st choice at the moment but its a lot of money and no harm shopping around. I'll give you a mention

I mentioned on another thread a company called UK HIDE for leather and I have been in touch with them to get samples. Nothing is too much trouble for them sent me loads of colours and finishes, maybe too many and now I don't know which to choose, but so far top company to deal with.
