Damaged tonneau cover

Post by Cloz »

Hi,
I have bought a new tonneau cover yesterday. I would like to know if there a way to keep it like new. The problem is my windows damaged the extremity of the tonneau. My windows have rubbed on each side. Any help?
Thank you,

C

Strange your windows shouldn't be touching the tonneau cover, have you fitted in correctly ?

I would say yes. When I snap the button in place there is adjustment......... :puzzle:
Maybe my first one is a defect????? I would like to avoid this again with a new one.

If it touches the window in the up position, it would have been difficult to shut the door
The button is in a elongated slot for fitting the tonneau it's not not really regarded as an adjustment?

Not really because it is not rubbing that much but just enough to damage it
