How do I sort this leather?

Hi all

My Coupe's seat has this horrible black mark on it. I have attempted to clean and cover with the furniture clinic kit but to no avail. What would be the best way to get this out? Would it be best to sand it back? Then I'd be worried about the colour match

I have the Imola seat dye.

May sound odd, but try a little wd40 first. Gently wipe away with a clean cloth. Then give it some leather cream to sort those cracks out.

Start any leather cleaning off gently first, I've learned this from past mistakes!
