Must say, just used Macguires Hot Rims, all Wheel and tyre cleaner and very good it is too! Can't say how good it would be on caked alloys, but on mine it was brilliant. Nearly a tenner a bottle. Which I suppose as I used half of it, is a little expensive! but it really brought them up, I finished off with a buff up using Chemicalguys ecosmart which I really rate. So for a once in a while deep clean I thought it was great also cleaned up the back of the alloys which one often neglects! Good stuff!

Wheel Cleaning
Re: Wheel Cleaning
I rate mcguires products for the money. I use there stuff for the regular valet and get good results.

Re: Wheel Cleaning
Use a good sealant like poorboys makes regular cleaning a lot easier. On caked on Alloys i use Bilberry, acid based but does the job Maguire Hot rims OK for freshening up at shows but prefer ultimate tyre gel for initial detailing on tyres.
Do like Maguires products but also like experimenting, Mainz fairly new to the market but make some good stuff
