mmm looks like a different one to the one I had.

I got mine from Evolve and they "made" it up from an M3 hoses/connectors and renault clio carbon box/filter.They told me this is how they made up all of their kits for the Z3m S50 engine.

Very tight fit but thats how it is suppoosed to be.

It looks like thats for a different car ?

Here was mine, different shape

and fitted

Hi

The photos of the blue ///M is mine and it was very tight to fit in and you really have to shove it in behind the headlight.
To be honest I don't think the fit is brilliant but once in it seems ok.

Hi
Thanks for the post. I was going to pm you but forgot. Does my filter look the same as yours as it's totally different to Jontts.
Thanks

hi, first post but some of you may know me from other forums, the simota is a really tight fit!, from the picture it looks like it needs to come forward and to the left so that the rubber covering the carbon is under the cars front panel, also when fitting mine we removed the large rubber elbow from the plenum and worked from the simota backwards which makes it easier to fit! good luck.

Just a quick update.
It's fitted but not taken for a drive yet, have not driven the car for the past month.
I did do a classic mistake of sticking the MAF the wrong way round and starting the car.

I thought mine was bigger than Jontt`s :P I had great sweat and tears getting mine in, it was a dreadfull job, i cant understand why it has to practically ruin all the hoses to get it in place, why dont they make it easier and have a couple of brackets to hold it in place. Not confident enough to start the car yet, i`m waiting for the valium to ware off.
