Dallantans Rutland Photoshoot
Hi Dallan, Thanks for an entertaining day in Rutland, rounded up with a meal in the picturesque Thistleton village pub. Good to meet you, Mark, Dave and Pauline
Looking forward to seeing your artistic photos of the iconic Z3
Here are my pics of the day
Badman Gee & EnthuZiaZT Zeds at Peterborough Services
Z3 Line up outside the Church in Thistleton
Mora, the model Zed
All ready and posed
Mora & Mint in the wings
Waiting around, now we know how film stars feel!
Mark dreaming of Drifting
Thisty work all this posing
All safely parked up
No wonder the guy with the MILK bucket is so far from the BULL!!
The Mask of Zed
Dave and Pauline leaving the watering hole, off back to Stafford
Mora, all polished and shiney.

Re: Dallantans Rutland Photoshoot
Have PMd Gazza, as the photos appear too large on our screen, despite the fact that it is the normal way I post them! hoping he will come back to me with a solution so that you can see them properly.

Fair enough everyone to their own.
Might stop the chips but that means you will have every person that see's your car thinking WHY instead of thats nice?
To be honest when I had my z3m I had it resprayed just because it had a few stone chips ie about 15 and when I bought the 911 I did the same but I just drive it then I will get it spayed again
I no when I saw your car in the past it was in good condition so I appreciate why you care.

Still not showing the whole pic, Gazza. On PB they are 1024 x 768., but the last 'part' pic of Mora looks really shiney so close!!Gazza wrote:Great set of pics

Works fine for me. You need to treat yourself to a bigger screen.EnthuZiaZT wrote:Still not showing the whole pic, Gazza. On PB they are 1024 x 768., but the last 'part' pic of Mora looks really shiney so close!!
More seriously, I have PM'd you explaining the issue and what I plan to do about it.

If you care that much, why not have the clear protective film put on the front? and then the best of both worlds.Badman gee wrote:i care too much, its an obsessionPERRINZ3M wrote:Fair enough everyone to their own.

I've never had it put on before, not on my Zed or 911 and Yes for the same money I got the front end resprayed.
I've had it done this time as the cars prone for chips on the side vane, thus a total respray and worthwhile having done..
Each to their own I agree, but blue tape... - or is it so it looks like an athlete from the Olympics covered in tape

Re: Dallantans Rutland Photoshoot
Pictures work ok for me, really enjoyed looking at them, nothing like big pictures of our Zeds.

Pics are very vivid, Dave, lovely colours, especially with all the sunshine!
Perhaps it's just our computer, but your pics appear too big aswell. Mind you, like Ragtop said, the Zeds look great, larger than life!!

mmm interesting - they are ok on my computer. I resized them to 1200x900 for a widescreen monitor. Is your monitor a wide screen or standard 4x3?EnthuZiaZT wrote:Perhaps it's just our computer, but your pics appear too big aswell. Mind you, like Ragtop said, the Zeds look great, larger than life!!

Re: Dallantans Rutland Photoshoot
Mint's (Dave's) images are all 1024x768 in the post above. Anyone with a 1280 pixel wide screen (as opposed to widescreen ) will likely NOT see about the last 100 pixels on the right of the image. 800x600 is about the size that most people can cope with. I have to say that I don't really notice, as my screen is 1920 wide and we have someone on here with a 2560 wide screen! I always feel like half my view has been cut off when I am forced to use a standard 1280x1024 monitor, essentially because it has!
The problem revolves around the fact that the poster's details panel is overlaid on top of the picture and this results in it being artificially "cropped" by your web browser if your screen isn't big enough. If you make your browser window narrower, you will see what I mean, as more and more gets cut off with the user details sliding over the top of the image. I hasten to add that I am working on a way of fixing this!
Assuming that I do managed to sort out the layout problem, it will not make the screen any bigger, just introduce a scrollbar when it gets too big. Please bear this in mind when posting pictures - anything larger than 1024 wide and the majority of people will not be able to view it in it's entirety. 800 wide is generally viewable by everybody. Note that it is possible to put links onto images to link to larger versions if you wish, and these will be shown to fill the browser window when the images are clicked.
Cheers R.

I've just resized all my photos to 800x600 on Photobucket but they still display here as 1024x768. Am I doing something wrong?
