Hey Peeps - My 2.8 Zed 3 (2000) automatic key stopped working recently so I just assumed that it was the battery inside.
I managed to replace the battery and also the buttons that you push down as the originals were pretty badly worn. Now, every time I push the button down on the key, the little red light comes on indicating to me that the battery works, however, the doors and tailgate on my car aren't opening. The spare key still works fine.
When it comes to things like this I am totally ignorant so any explanation in lay-man's terms would be very much appreciated if possible...
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Vince
