Hi,
I've just joined, no car yet but I'm looking.
Are there any club meetings around Luton area?
Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum.
Re: New Member South Beds
Just bought a beauty of a Z3, well pleased with it.
Re: New Member South Beds
I thin it is obligatory to at least tell us a little bit more

Sorry but I get "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." when I try to post a picture.

There is no uploading here - you need to stick it somewhere else and link it / embed it...varptr wrote:Sorry but I get "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." when I try to post a picture.
Photobucket works...

Re: New Member South Beds
Yours looks cleaner than mine!
Inside and out...
Mine is the same blue and roughly the same colour inside though with some weird fake ostrich texture to the leather...
However I have bits of bling chrome all over mine as well / no wood / an auto gearbox - so not quite twin cars (and mine is a few months older...)
Can't be many folks with our spelling of the name & virtually matching cars - most bizarre
(size looks good...)

Re: New Member South Beds
looking lovely...
If you have have to replace the rook - put a dark blue one on - lifts the whole feel enormously

Re: New Member South Beds
So, back to my original question - Are there any regional club meetings for the Z3?
I see mention of events in the forum but not local meetings.
Thanks

Re: New Member South Beds
Not a lot seems to happen in Beds. Most active group nearest to you is the EAC, but they seem to have mostly migrated to .org these days.
Re: New Member South Beds
There are several events organised annually. Cruises and statics meets, car shows, meet up at the likes of aeroparks to name a few. As things start to be set up threads will appear and join the ones that interest you. A few tend to use hotels and travel to join. (Ask mint about that, his hotel bill must be through the roof!) South Beds isn't far from being central, we're looking at doing a Derbyshire/yorkshire cruise next spring, you'd be more than welcome to join, and also the Newark aero park meet was very popular and was asked to be repeated next year. (Shouting koolflyer!) if your really brave there's Moz and Billz epic adventure to Croatia next year! Keep on zedding!
Re: New Member South Beds
Yes Dave, have been to quite a few cruises this year, West Country, Rutland Water, Dorset, Welsh, Peak District, Lake District, and a couple of meets Newark air Museum & East Midlands Aeropark. Also went to Andorra, not a cruise as such but a great driving holiday. So yes, we've probably spent as much on hotels as fuel. Great fun though and every hobby costs money so roll on next year...Davejue1 wrote:Ask mint about that, his hotel bill must be through the roof!

Couldn't agree more, just got back from the pub in thick fog, top down driving seems a million miles away However, as Dave was hinting, I've a few ideas for next year...watch this spaceroll on next year...
