Off head I reckon if you come over to Melton Adrian, will meet you there then Oakham, Corby, Kettering then onto the A14 and M11 for the last stretch. Brian. Will meet at McDonald's Ollerton and go from there as you know where that is and it's a good starting point for us.
Hi Dave/Brian
I'll come over to Maccy D's in Ollerton and drive there with you guys if that's OK, what time you plan on being there ?

Hi Terry. Early start mate as we've got a bit of a run down. Will aim to leave Ollerton at 7.15 so be there anytime before then mate.
Cheers
Dave

Hi all, I'm quite new to the forum. Purchased myself a Z3M Roadster at the end of last summer. Been busy getting her up together & would really like to meet some other owners so would like to be added to the Duxford car show in May.
Thanks Jason.
As for Pete (Koolflyer) he's on nights but said he was going to see if he could pull a swift one! If he does I'm sure you two could meet us together somewhere.
Swift one pulled..... and I've got the Saturday night shift off (but on standby), which means....I'm good to go, also RockyDave is back from 'down under', so don't go without us! We are from the Loughborough area so probably best meet you guys in pork pie land?? Melton. If I get called in I'll probably ride shotgun with RD and have a snooze on the way down.Zzzz
Still gotta work Sunday night tho, so won't be leaving late

I would like to tag along, if you don't mind. Just got mine back on the road. Much appreciated if you could keep me informed of the time you are all meeting up.
I've been asked by the BMW Car Club if there are any volunteers to help marshall on this event. It needs someone who can arrange all the Zs - any helpers?
Sapphire black/Imola red and black interior/ red roof/ S54 - the only RHD one made.

Is this for those that have registered though BMWCC?
Russ59 from the Z4-forum has arranged for a separate Z3/Z4 Group independent of BMWCC - details HERE

Davejue1 wrote:Brian, isn't it John barleycorn for 9.30? I've planned the run down to land there about then.
I think that the show entrance opens at 09:30 but the EAC (and others) have usually (always?) arranged to meet first at the John Barleycorn for coffee before going into Duxford. Some people could well be going straight into Duxford.
Hopefully the weather holds out for Sunday, fingers and toes crossed.
I will be there but not in the Zed, as some of you know I'm a Yank fan so I'll be in this

Nothing planned Dave as yet, I'm arranging a lot of things at the airport this year....its our 50th Birthday at EMA. I do have an idea though but can't commit myself and don't want to let you old boys down. BTW glad I didn't get up too early yesterday as that was 27 hours ago and only going to me pit now!! Zzzz...cheers

Hi, big shout out to everyone who helped me at Duxford with working out why my roof was trying to over take the bonnet and sit on top of the windscreen.
I purchased 2 new centre pins (£4 each) and having fitted them and now the roof falls in line as it should...let's hope that helps it at speed
Now for the external temp sensor, where I have found the brown and blue wire but no connector...
