I had new front tyres fitted a couple of months ago but only get the abs light to come(red light with a triangle in it) on when I pull away on muddy or wet roads

Checked tyre pressures, a little high dropped them to 29 , lights still on.

Get the codes read and find out whether it is a wheel sensor or the pump/control board. Having the wheels off may have disturbed some dirt, or the wiring, but unless you read the codes, you won't know which wheel to check.

Check the wire to the wheel sensor. I had new brake pads fitted a couple of years ago and somehow the wire came loose, rubbed on something and the insulation wore away and it periodically earthed itself and that lit up the ABS light.
