Re: Pirelli 225.45.16

I tend to agree with Felix Re Pirelli. Never really liked any of their tyres that I’ve had. Used P700-z on my old CRX and they were ok but every time I’ve had a bmw with them fitted they have been a disappointment. Toyo T1-R is a great tyre for the money but not too strong in wet and greasy conditio...

Re: Z1 Power Steering Pump vs common M20 pumps

Hi Alex,
It could be something as simple as one of the take-offs being bent in a different direction or longer/shorter? If the repair kit is common then it would imply the internals must be very similar or identical. Is it the lhd E30 pump you’re looking at?

Hi Chaps, I did indeed fit Boxster front calipers to my car. It was easy enough really, with care being needed around the bracketry. I had already fitted a 7-series master cylinder to my car and braided hoses. Having tried a number of different pads, I decided to go for Brembo, as it felt as if the ...

My coolant always goes down when cold and up to the line when warm :-) The studs do have a tendency to break, as well as unwinding themselves occasionally. Hi Pat, The Porker inevitably takes a bit more coolant, with its triple radiators and lots of water pipes from back to front layout (my 911 runs with no coolant and never gets hot :D ). Following the manual involves removing the bottom hose, which comes across the front of the cam belt cover and does rather get in the way of the job.
