Ordered armrest from leatherz and paid extra for RHD adaption but still the front lid hinges on the right ie for access from LH seat.A bit disappointing :(

Not working is it something to do with direct link? when I load zroadster and then try to load photobucket it substitutes itself by deleting zroadster and vice-versa. I'll post pics individually for now!!!

Great strut but be careful I had to grind a little off the high part of the strut ends as I developed tiny little dints in the bonnet where bit touched although appeared OK on fitting. Maybe I dropped the bonnett or whatever and from what I can gather I'm the only one but be careful, Terry

south-east outskirts of Shaftesbury, from Sandbanks depending on traffic 1¼ - 1½ hrs. Well worth the trip as the countryside around is magnificent. Out of interest Continental Tyres class the B3081 as the bendiest road in Britain. Terry

checked and tightened down. dints are very small, appears to have been caused by normal vibration. guess I should have ground a bit off when fitted

Cosmo strutbrace

Horror of horrors just cleaned the car and found two dints on the bonnet :bawl: these have appeared where the cosmo strut brace is at its highest. I've ground off the offending part and luckily my brother is in the small dint removal business so no great problems but everyone needs to be aware!

Mark, as Andy said I had the same problem which was the linkage coming adrift. I tried everything but had to take it to the dealer. They found it difficult but did do the job, I think it took them a few hours. From the marks I think they tried to go in behind the rear badge but I am not sure of that...

Cosmo brace is exellent, good delivery, good price even though I had to pay import duty, easy to fit and an amazing difference to the car.

Derek I have just had mine done for the same problem ie new bootlid and all the back end sprayed and blended in. The dealer took photos of rust spots and sent to BMW who then authorised the £1600 plus VAT. I was never asked about previous owners or service history! I don't know if the boot lid butto...

The dealer has been back in contact and informs me that they are going to supply a new boot lid and spray to the blue meatallic including the rear bumper and rear wings to blend the whole thing in. The cost of this work is £1600 plus VAT ie £1880, and BMW have agreed to pay for it under the warranty...

Derek took my Z in to the dealers today with the same problem, they checked it, photographed it and are writing to BMW with a recommendation for a new boot lid. Probably take a couple of weeks and we will see what happens! I'll post an update when I know

Thanks guys did't realise 6 year warranty. I have a small amount of bubbling around the chrome boot lid catch. Off to the dealer tomorrow to call in the warranty.
Martin there is absolutely no sign of rust anywhere else on the car, 3.0i, better the devil you know!
